The Nobleman House forms together with the Villa Padronale the architectural – historic monumental Complex “ Villa Il Paradisino ” (“The Small Paradise”), which was the centre of a wide estate at the Medicis's time. The garden of our Villa, with huge forest trees and shrubs, the lemon tree glasshouse, the stable, the hay – loft, the cellar and about five hectares of land cultivated for centuries with olive trees (some of these are now older than 400 years), grapes fruit trees and vegetables are part of this Complex, too.
The architecture of our Complex, even though it reflects the purity of tuscan style and its simplicity, is just an example among many others in this very beautiful region. Our Complex is, with surprising anachronism, a fragment of history within the urban tissue of Florence. This is the feature that makes it so unique in its genre! Our Complex is very near to the historical center of Florence and it constitutes a complete example of Renaissance estate, which was managed in accordance with the rules of the métayage and which was bought by our family in 1839. Since that year, our estate is continually managed by our family. Our Complex has been put under the guardianship of the “ Superintendence for the architectonic property and the landscape and for the historical, artistic and anthropological patrimony of Florence ”. This obligation has a great importance, because it protects these immovables and lands, which are worthy of respect and which form one of the biggest private park of Italy with its 50.000 mq, from any possible speculation and alteration. In this way, not only the architectonic integrity of the buildings will be preserved, but also the ambient and the organisation of the “Villa – Farm”, which go back to the Medicis's time and which have miraculously escaped to the ravages of time.
I celebrated a special birthday together with friends and family at Villa Il Paradisino in the month of May. I had seen pictures and planned the details with the owners - the two sisters in the 6th generation at the villa, Costanza and Serena, who were truly remarkable during the planning process. So my expectations were high. Still they exceeded all my expectations by far. This is a real renaissance villa, the most beautiful place, still driven as a farm by the family who are the most loving and welcoming people. We had cooking class, Pizza party in the court-yard and a real Florentine dinner at the villa. They made my celebration a memory for life. I went there to see Florence and celebrate with friends, and I will come back for sure, because there is no other place I would rather stay than at Il Paradisino!

Best food I had in many years. Very very nice hosts too. And don't get me started on the "ambiente" …

The best experience you'll ever have! Me and my family stayed here for 1 week, we were so overwhelmed with the warm welcome we got from the family. I highly recommend that you stay here and take advantage of all the excursions and tours they have to offer! P.s. if you get a chance to cook with these amazing sisters do it, it will be the best food you eat in Italy! Loads of love

The location of the house is good and quiet. The neighborhood of the house is a market where fresh vegetables and fruit can be bought. And mr. Alberto is very nice, prepared a map for us and recommended restaurants. This is a great choice. It's a wonderful place, thank you for everything.

Costanza was so warm and welcoming. It was the perfect way to stay in Italy. Very convenient to the train station to go to Florence, but also very easy to get into hills surrounded Florence. This place is the best!

My wife and I spent one glorious day of cooking with Costanza as she taught us how to make a few traditional Tuscan dishes. When we arrived, Costanza greeted us and swept us out into the gardens where we received a full tour of the estate farm and the gardens where we harvested everything needed for the days cooking class. I am a gardener and fell in love with the estate and wished we could have stayed for a week. We were limited to just one day but hope to return and visit our friend Constanza in the years to come. Our vacation to Italy included Rome and all the other top places in Tuscany and by far this one day spent with Costanza at Villa Il Paradisino was the highlight of our trip.
